Hermann Hospital serves delicious hot lunches on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Hermann Community Center. Call 486-FOOD (486-3663) a day in advance to reserve your place.

Meals are served from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30p.m.

Cost: $3.00 for senior citizens

(55 and older; $5.00 for adults; $3.00 for children under 12.

Senior Meal Program, it’s more than Lunch!

            A new occurrence is happening on the last Thursday of every month. It is a Birthday and Anniversary celebration for the people who come for the senior meals.  A wonderful birthday/anniversary cake from the Battocletti Bakery compliments of Hermann Area District Hospital Auxiliary is served after lunch.   Hermann Florist donates flowers each month for the winners of a give-away to the birthday/anniversary people.   

It gives a person a good feeling when you see people come together to support a community cause.  Some of the schools and daycare facilities have helped by making decorations for the dining room that go with the seasons. We greatly appreciate their help.

  The City of Hermann provides the facility and Hermann Area District Hospital dietary department prepares the food.  And who could forget the volunteers that so faithfully serve the meals, set-up pinochle games and clean up, they are the icing on the cake.  What a great asset to the community, that’s what team work, is all about!
