Ruth Hulsey, RN: HADH's Employee of the 1st Quarter

Article Date:  May 7, 2012

Ruth Hulsey, RN was selected as Employee of 1st quarter (Jan., Feb., and March) by the Employee Appreciation Committee of Hermann Area District Hospital.  The employee of the quarter is selected by a committee of peers based upon the employee going above and beyond for the hospital, fellow employees, and the community we serve.  She received a certificate, corsage, and a gift certificate to Vintage Restaurant.

Ruth is a full time employee at HADH working in the nursing department in different areas including home health, Emergency Department, and in patient care.  Ruth has been a nurse for 46 years; most of those years have been in long term care, but she is truly happy with the acute care nursing she currently is in.

Ruth is married to husband Raymond and has a son, two stepdaughters and one step granddaughter.   She enjoys cooking, crafting, and working outdoors. Ruth has a love for music and it is apparent she has a talent for it.   She is the director of the Bell Choir at St. Paul’s UCC in Hermann, is also a substitute pianist for St. George Parish in Hermann, and is a member of the Hermann City Band.

HADH is glad to have Ruth as part of our team and one of the “People Who Care”.
