Thank You to Dr. Largaespada

At his last scheduled shift on Saturday, March 31st, the Medical Staff and employees of Hermann Area District Hospital wished Dr. Manuel Largaespada well. Dan McKinney, Administrator, presented Dr. Largaespada with an iPad in recognition of his years of service to the Hermann area. Dr. Largaespada has worked in the emergency room at the Hermann Area District Hospital for over eight years. In that time he has seen over 10,000 patients! Originally from Nicaragua, Dr. Largaespada worked for many years as a General Surgeon, before switching full time to work in the ER. He and his wife live outside Wright City and he has been commuting to Hermann to be our principal ER provider for the last 8 years.

 

All the employees of Hermann Area District Hospital wish him the best in his future endeavors. His ER shifts will be principally filled by Dr. Dale Korn, our new ER director, who is moving here from Lebanon, MO and is board certified in both Family Medicine and Pediatric, and Dr. Jaya Parker (formerly Dr. Uppal), who is now working full time in the ER.
