Began practicing in 1997.  Began providing Podiatry services at Hermann Hospital’s Outpatient Clinic in September 2017.

Dr. Lewis-Simmons is a visiting doctor in our Outpatient Clinic.  She comes to us from O’Fallon, Missouri with the Mobile Feet for Miles practice.  She began visiting patients in our Outpatient Clinic in September of 2017. Dr. Lewis-Simmons comes with a great deal of expertise and experience to our patients, offering the ease and convenience of being available here in Hermann, rather than patients having to drive an additional distance to see a Podiatrist.

What attracted Dr. Lewis-Simmons to Podiatry and what she enjoys most about her profession:

“My career as a podiatrist and foot surgeon began 21 years ago in private practice.  My practice grew from one patient a week to two well established podiatry practices in the St Louis & St Charles County areas treating a range of foot & ankle problems with both surgical & conservative measures to both children & adults.  After 15 years of private practice, I left private practice in hopes to spend more time with the growing needs of my 3 children and developed a business in home healthcare.   Remarkably, I discovered a world of health needs that I didn’t know existed.  I developed a passion for those that were unable to leave their home whether due to aging, physical or mental disabilities.  This vision lead to the birth of Feet for Miles, LLC in 2015.  I found a great need for compassionate qualified physicians to meet foot care needs of medically complex and/or functionally-impaired individuals appropriate to the house call environment on a full time basis.  I have found this to be a rewarding mission & a fulfilling career.”
