Hermann Area District Hospital is happy to announce that Dr. Cynthia Modrosic, Audiologist, will be joining Hermann Hospital’s Outpatient Clinic. Dr. Modrosic is known by several Hermann area residents who already visit her office in Union, the Professional Hearing Center. Many will be happy to hear she will be right here in Hermann the first Tuesday of each month starting in February at Hermann Hospital’s Outpatient Clinic, which is located inside Hermann Hospital to the left upon coming in through the front entrance. Dr. Modrosic will be available to new patients, as well as current patients.

Dr. Modrosic has many years of experience and has practiced Audiology for 16 years. She purchased the Professional Hearing Center in Union, Missouri 8 years ago, which has been a long-term establishment having opened its doors in 1982. Dr. Modrosic expressed her excitement in joining our Outpatient Clinic, “I am looking forward to being closer to some of our Hermann area patients, and providing the same excellent quality service in Hermann as we do in Union.” When asked what she loves most about being an Audiologist, she replied “When people tell me how I’ve helped them hear their family better.”

There are many Audiology services Dr. Modrosic will be offering through the Hermann Hospital Outpatient Clinic, including, but not limited to: medical evaluations for hearing tests with reports that can be sent to primary care providers, otoacoustic emissions testing (OAE), speech mapping verification of hearing aids, and she can also take care of most national brands of hearing aides. On a more personal note, Dr. Modrosic grew up in O’Fallon, IL and currently lives right outside of Desoto, Missouri with her husband Bill, a Firefighter, and their two sons, Liam who is 10, and Sean who is 7. Dr. Modrosic and her family have two rescue dogs, June Bug and Sprocket, whom they consider a big part of the family.
