“I don’t know what you could do different that would improve an already excellent program. My thanks again.” - A Valued Cardiac Rehabilitation Patient
What is Cardiac Rehabilitation?
Cardiac Rehabilitation is a telemetry monitored exercise program that will assist you in returning to your prior level of function following a cardiac event.
- Covered diagnoses include: heart attack, stent placement, percutaneous coronary intervention, coronary bypass surgery, heart valve repair or replacement, stable angina, heart transplant and some systolic heart failure.
- A physician typically orders two to three sessions per week that includes exercise, as well as education towards heart-healthy living.
