Respite Care

Hermann Area District Hospital provides the option of Respite Care.  Respite Care is often used to provide relief to caregivers who are looking after a loved one.  Should a caregiver need assistance in watching their loved one for a short period of time, Respite Care is available at Hermann Hospital.

Medicare

Respite Care is typically set up for patients to come to Hermann Hospital for a 5 day stay through Medicare.

Private Pay

If a patient is interested in Respite Care but does not qualify through Medicare, Hermann Hospital also offers the option of a patient staying at the hospital through Private Pay.
